Inks on Mylar remain one of my favorite mediums. After painting the intricate and meticulous Syrian series, I needed to give up control! The result is this reaching branch design reminiscent of floral buds lying in wait for spring. I captured this image while the painting was still wet so the fluid look and feel is very real!
